I/O Error when attempting to write a single layer BD-R disc

Hello. I tried to write on a BD-R Verbatim LTH 6x 25GB disc but I get this error at the very beginning. This is my first try ever. What am I doing wrong?

Do I need 25 GB of free space to perform the "Write files/folders to disk" task? I'm a few GB behind that mark.

Anyway here it is:

The LTH media isn't as well supported by drives, nor as reliable. It's cheaper for a reason :)

There's a 1.30 firmware update available for the 207M, maybe it'll help?

You could also try burning at the other speeds the drive claims to support on that MID. (i.e. 2x and 6x) Maybe it'll do a better job at one of those rather than 4x.
