MrLerner
I get this error everytime I try to burn an ISO onto a double layer DVD.
polopony
what did you use to create the ISO?
lfcrule1972
Can you also give us a bit more information ? For instance is there any log at all in the smaller box under the one you have shown above ? If not please can you open ImgBurn, select write mode, pop one of those discs in the drive and then copy the information that appears in the window on the right ? Saves a lot of guessing on our part !
blutach
I don't suppose the disk has already been written to? That is not an ATAPI error code. Regards
LIGHTNING UK!
Looks just like your drive (with that firmware version) doesn't support the media.
rocknman
Can anyone pleeeeeeease tell me what "logical block address out of range" means. I,m losing sleep over this
blutach
Welcome to ImgBurn Forum. Well, what this cryptic error really means is this: Your media is divided into "logical blocks" (sectors), starting at 0 (like all things PC). When your drive asks to write to the media, it asks for its capacity. If it returns a figure lower than expected it issues this error. Essentially, it means the drive and the media aren't getting along for a number of reasons - poor media, DMA off, firmware out of date, drive that needs cleaning etc. If you post a log, we can help. LIGHTNING UK!
It meas you're attempting to write/read beyond what the drive considers the end of the disc.

LIGHTNING UK!
You drive doesn't appear to support those discs. Maybe try the 2.4x speed ones rather than the 8x ones.
