Disc not empty/Itunes

Awhile back I was having a "disc not empty" issue  when I found a thread explaining that iTunes was in some way conflicting with the imgburn disc partition. it offered a simple solution that I followed and solved the problem until I had to uninstall and re install iTunes and now I cannot find the solution?. I definitely know its an iTunes conflict because every time id start iTunes some prompt would come up explaining I had changed the dvd settings etc. my firmware is up to date and along with everything else.

Something to do with the 'gear' filter driver installed by iTunes perhaps?

 

That shouldn't really be causing a problem though as it's fine here.
