wayno12 Posted September 10, 2006 Posted September 10, 2006 I was attempting to backup my PS2 game and just downloaded the current ImgBurn. However, under the bookmark tab, I cannot find anything close to representing my DVD Burnner which is a I/O Magic IDVD16DL. My seach showed the OEM as BTC, whatever that is! By not being able to change my bookmark, how do I burn my image as DVD-ROM, or isn't this really necessary?
wayno12 Posted September 10, 2006 Author Posted September 10, 2006 Oh, and by the way, my media is Sony DVD+R having a Disc ID: YUDEN000-T02-00. I have had exceptional luck burning to these discs in the past. I just hope it continues.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted September 10, 2006 Posted September 10, 2006 Most drives remember their bitsetting stuff once it has been configured. So you could do it with another program and then it'll automatically bitset to DVDROM without ImgBurn having to do anything.
wayno12 Posted September 10, 2006 Author Posted September 10, 2006 Lightning UK, thanks, but this is all pretty new to me, what other program might I use to change the bitset?
Rippraff Posted September 10, 2006 Posted September 10, 2006 There are a lot of programs which can do this for you if your drive is supported, you can give Nero CD-DVD Speed a try. Cu Rippraff
wayno12 Posted September 10, 2006 Author Posted September 10, 2006 Thanks Rippraff, I'll try it right now.

The dye manufacturer is Taiyo Yuden one of the top 2 dye manufacturers anywhere the other is Verbatim with MCC dye . They are the cream of the crop when it comes to media. To play burned PS2's you need a chipped box or at least a boot disc
