texasjackson
Hi I am new to Blu Ray and desire to archive some data (jpegs, flac, ...) on a BD-R disc. Is the process identical to creating a DVD data disk except that I need to go to Options and select Data Type: Mode1/2048, File System: UDF, UDF Revision: 2.50 ?? LIGHTNING UK!
You'd need mode1/2048 for DVD too. It's only CDs that can make use of the other option. As for the file system version, that's really your choice. v2.50 is a good match for BD discs though I guess.
texasjackson
Thank you very much. I will give it a try soon. I have used imgburn a lot for CDs with great success and I make use of CD-Text. So I really appreciate imgburn. I have done some but not a lot of DVD burning and now just getting started with BD.
texasjackson
I successfully burned a BD data disk over the weekend. Everything worked fine on the first try. Thanks!
