W 18:35:41 Retry Failed - Reason: Invalid Address For Write The kicker is, however, that I'm using the Verbatim DVD+R stuff, as you can see in the Destination Media code, and this has worked as recently as two-three days ago. This doesn't just happen with one disc, with all of them. Thanks in advance, I think it might be my drive.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 The first error is the important / real one, not anything that comes after a retry. So... this one... W 18:35:40 Failed to Write Sectors 0 - 31 - Reason: Unknown (Write Error) (ASC: 0x0C, ASCQ: 0x80) A 'write error' of some sort. Try cleaning the drive with a cleaning disc. Failing that, yeah, get yourself another drive (assuming the discs aren't faulty / fake).
vexas Posted June 16, 2013 Author Posted June 16, 2013 alright, and the discs aren't fake. I've been burning a lot recently so that might be it. Thanks, ordered the cleaning disc.
