reklamchef
i can't burn a cd with imgburn on windows7 running with admin privileges, disabled autoplay on the burner. it just doesn't work anymore. gets stuck in an infinte loop at the end, need to reboot my machine to get the disc out, burner gets hot. etc. im on a dell inspiron 1720. samsung tsst drive. worked fine when i had xp installed. does not work on windows 7 with my hardware for whatever reason. i've read other posts about this on this forum, and imgburn has blamed autoplay... LIGHTNING UK!
An infinite loop where exactly? This issue doesn't sound related to autoplay so I'm not sure where you're getting that idea from. I'd say it's related to the controller the drive is attached to and the drivers you've got installed for it. Right click the drive selection box when you're in write mode (using win 7 of course) and click 'family tree'. Close the prompt and then copy + paste everything from the log window into a reply. reklamchef
infinite loop after burning, but before finalizing. (makes coasters) i didnt see any 'drive selection box' and the cd tray wont even eject, just stuck in 'synchronising' mode. not sure if its imgburns fault.--------------is it possible to finalize one of these coasters? --------------- I 23:29:05 ImgBurn Version 2.5.8.0 started!
