LIGHTNING UK! Posted August 23, 2013 Posted August 23, 2013 Maybe they're some sort of value version. Either way, they're not what you want to be buying.
spinningwheel Posted August 25, 2013 Posted August 25, 2013 UMEDISC-DL1-64 OK a brief check on several forums shows that this media I D is used by several name brands and everyone posting seems to have a problem with them. Some claim they're knock-off Verbs, others have no explanation as to how they got the Verbatim branding. I would shit can them and order some real Verbatim discs from a trustworthy source such as those listed in the link in post # 2.
hollywood Posted August 25, 2013 Posted August 25, 2013 I shop at a reputable store in California called Fry's. They carried both the regular Verbatim's and the "Life Series" that were about $5.00 less per spool of 100. I never bought the cheaper ones, but the assumption is they are a lesser quality line from the same company.
NCDuster Posted August 29, 2013 Author Posted August 29, 2013 Yeah I've already got rid of them and ordered some new ones off newegg, just happened to see them in best buy when i needed some disks.
