I installed Foobar2000, LAME, and Imgburn. All of which are the most recent versions. I placed the lame files in the foobar folder, I followed installation instructions for all of them as best I could, and I managed to convert one flac album to mp3 and burn it. Now I keep getting this message after trying to create CUE files out of the MP3's I convert. I looked through this forum but can't seem to find a solution (could also be because I am not keen on software, my apologies) to my issue. It is only happening to the FLAC to MP3 files I convert, Imgburn works fine for everything else. Does this mean that foobar is messed up? Or do I need other encoders to get it to work? Maybe my MP3's are corrupted, but I honestly don't know. I don't even know if that's the case because they play fine as MP3's. Anyone's help is greatly appreciated. I don't know if it matters, but I am burning these cd's fo playing in the car. Thanks for hearing me out.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 Usually when this happens with mp3 files it's because there's something wrong with the metadata in them (ID3 tags etc). Can you upload/send me the file that failed so I can examine it? That aside, why bother converting to mp3 at all? Just burn the flac files (install madFlac - as listed in the Audio CD guide - so your system can decode flac files via DirectShow).
ShizarKing56 Posted September 20, 2013 Author Posted September 20, 2013 Can you recommend a good file hosting site so I may upload the files?
LIGHTNING UK! Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 Perhaps it's easier if you just email it to the address shown in the program's 'about' box (off the help menu) ?

(0x00000003) I resolved the initial problem of converted flacs not working as mp3's by using a different converter. However, now most of my pre-existing mp3's wont work, and this is the log info from one of those instances. I tried converting them as mp3's, but it doesn't work. I sent an email containing the mp3 after I "converted" it.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 Once you've added an mp3 to the 'create cue' window, right click that entry and bring up the directshow filter list. You should then be able to copy + paste that info from the log window for me to look at. Thanks.
