rrrh1
I have a "ASUS DRW-24B1ST c" Drive and a LITE-ON "iHAS124 B" Was trying to burn files to an CD-R To a Memorex by Moser Baer India With ImgBurn 2.5.8.0 Under Windows XP Professional SP3 Set burn speed to 16x With Supported Write Speeds: 16x, 24x, 32x, 40x, 48x With the ASUS DRW-24B1ST but the disk burnt at the max speed 48x anyway. I was wondering is this ImgBurn or the Drive until I tried Nero which proceeded to burn at 16x Is there something I need to set to fix this ? Thanks rrrh1 (arch1) Edit: Forgot log... LIGHTNING UK!
It should honour the speed it's set to. I don't know why the drive isn't when it's actually returning that 16x is the current write speed.
