Adrianvdh
Hi all, This afternoon I inserted a Blu-ray disc into my drive and when DVDFab Passkey started scanning it ImgBurn does not recognize the disc while it is scanning. (I have known this for a while, just putting it out there.) Does ImgBurn rely on explorer to see if there is a disc there? If so, is there no work around to make the disc look available, and then say: "The disc is being scanned by (variable)" and then Read button is disabled while this happens? This is just a suggestion, so again please say no, it is not possible. P.S I am just trying to help improve ImgBurn, but again I am probably going to be cut off
LIGHTNING UK!
No, it doesn't rely on Explorer. It polls the drive itself and when it says it's ready, it reads it. By design, Passkey (and AnyDVD) will make a drive look empty when they're busy doing stuff with it. When they've finished, they present the modified version of the disc to the system. Adrianvdh
So there is no way of seeing if DVDFab Passkey is using it? Maybe show this in the status bar?
