what's the difference between the 2 blanks at the settings of read speed?

i started the imgburn software and  then pressed "creat image file from disc".at the layout of the read mode,i found there are 2 blanks at settings of read speed,can u explain in more details about the difference between these 2 balnks?and it's interesting that i can choose "max"  only at the blank on the left side.

The two fields are for data and audio.

 

So data tracks are read at whatever speed you select in the first drop down box and audio tracks are read at whatever speed you select in the second one.
