newbie here, Failed to set Write Parameters!

hey folks, totally new to all of this, was trying to burn an iso that i created using your program, and getting that error. i am trying to burn using cd-r in a cd-r drive, is this my problem? or am i missing something even more basic that that? sorry if these are dumb questions

Is that the only burner you have? It probably dates back way before the MMC specs were really taken on by drive - and ImgBurn follows the MMC specs.

 

btw, you know that discovery mode just writes 'nothing' (lots of zeroes) to a disc yeah?

 

If you want to burn something you need 'Write' or 'Build' modes.
