Can't Create a .CUE file from MP3s

[rgrun1]

This worked before under windows 8. After a crash, reinstall to windows 8.1, reinstall of Imgburn and k-lite codecs, it fails. I did burn one CD of FLAC files (I think they were)

I see it is a directshow error, but I do not know how to fix it

Thanks in advance and yes I did search first

You should probably just uninstall k-lite and add filters as and when you need them.

 

The OS should be able to handle MP3 by itself without any extra ones.

Thanks for the reply. I may try that but Freestudio burns them with no problem. I would rather use Imgburn

That probably doesn't use directshow for the conversion to cdda format. There's something wrong with the directshow graph / filters your machine is using to decode mp3.

I reinstalled the K-lite and now all is well. Something was broken as it was working. I installed the Mega pack this time (I usually go for the standard to get the player) so I can't say if it was just a reinstall issue or an upgrade to the larger pack that has more filters. I doubt that is the case but the question is still begging
