BeaverBill
First time post. I have successfully copied a DVD to .ISO file. Then successfully copied .ISO to blank DVD-R. The video will play on a Panasonic DVD player just fine. Also it will play on two different Toshiba laptops in either Toshiba Blu-Ray Player or Toshiba DVD Player. BUT..... It will not play on either laptop in Windows Media Player. And unfortunately I need it to play in Windows Media Player. Any advise?
LIGHTNING UK!
Does it play other DVDs ok? Once upon a time, windows media player couldn't play DVD video discs without some 3rd party software being installed.
BeaverBill
Yes, both computers play DVD's in windows media player with no trouble. The original DVD that I've copied plays with no trouble on both computers using windows media player. Attached are screen shots of my procedure. Did I do something incorrectly? Thank you
BeaverBill
OK. Now I'm really frustrated. I downloaded another brand of ISO creater. Still had no luck playing in Windows Media Player. Then I tried playing the original in Windows Media Player and low and behold.....it doesn't play either. So it is not a matter of ImgBurn not creating ISO properly. I performed another test and the original and my copies burned in ImgBurner will play in Windows Media Center. Just not in Windows Media Player. So at this point ImgBurner is performing perfectly and I'm off to figure out what the issue is with Media Player. Sorry to have wasted your time. Best regards to you!
