a1amoeba Posted March 10, 2014 Share Posted March 10, 2014 (edited) Hi - hope someone can help me. I created a DL dvd using Adobe Encore CS6, and uploaded the video_ts online. The replication service went through and said Encore had placed the layer break in the wrong location. As per multiple forum suggestions, I used imgburn to reburn the DVD image (iso) with a correct layer break. It seems to work, I then uploaded the video_ts files from the iso however the file dates have not changed, so I'm not sure it's actually done anything. I've reuploaded the files to the replicator but they wont proceed because they think nothing has changed from the original file upload that had the wrong break location. LIGHTNING UK! Posted March 10, 2014 Share Posted March 10, 2014 It only modifies it in memory (and the modified version then gets written to the image/disc. The replicators won't proceed because the video_ts file dates are still the same If I could have uploaded the iso and mds this wouldn't be a problem. unfortunately i can only upload the video_ts folder Thanks so much. Change it manually via something like this... http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/filedatech.html ...and then send them the new files. Oh and relying on file date/times to see if the contents of a file have been changed is silly (stupid replication company). It's trivial to set them back to whatever you what having modified a file. Yeah the replicator is discmakers.com - if I'd known the total amount of sucky support I'd get from them I'd never have gone there. Live and learn.
