LIGHTNING UK! Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 Just because they don't totally fail to burn in one drive doesn't mean they're any good or that they'll work in another one. Each drive treats different discs differently. You also have to take the condition of the drive itself into account. An old/dirty one may have more trouble burning than a new/clean one. As the log only shows you attempting to burn them at max speed, try slowing it down to 8x. The drive may do a better job.

The disc from the previous burn that I posted it's log played on my settop dvd player. From these last two log posts can you tell me where the problem is. LIGHTNING UK! Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 I tried telling you the problem before but you wouldn't accept my answer. Use different discs with that drive or use your other machine/drive that can burn them ok.
stephenehill Posted April 22, 2014 Author Posted April 22, 2014 Hello Lightning UK, Just wanted you to know that I solved my issue. It was'nt that I did not believe you about the different discs for that drive, it was the fact that i had just bought 30.00 worth of discs, about 200 discs. So what I did was buy a 13.00 dvd+-rw drive and the discs I have work with it. Also it is good thing I did because my other computer that did burn my discs stopped working.
