Hi,

Iam new to this forum and my I thank anybody who replies in advance. I have been able to backup my xbox games using an oprtric plus using verbatims mkm 003 most results on Nero are above 90. In the past before I brought the drive for xdg2 I used to use aone gold edition as I did not play on line, so I had two left and burned 2 xdg2 games no problems and the I read they could be used to burn xdg3 with errors, but I don't play on line so I got 25 more. I tried fifa world 2013, titanfall both stopped with errors at 50%, then I tried fight night championship a xd2 game and the same 50% error. When I tried fifa World Cup and titanfall with verbatims, they burned and worked. What I have watch videos that zone disc on Ihas b need patching but there is no patching for the sony oprtric plus, unless I am wrong.

I have searched the internet for setting opc and proof burn etc, what could it be that I am doing wrong as Lighting uk has done disk on these disks

I know you guys are going to say use the verbatim, but I just want to know if it is possible and what am I doing wrong

Ok so the Optiarc overburning was never actually designed (and properly tested) to work with anything other than the decent Verbatim discs. If others work, it's more luck than anything.

You've messed with the default settings to enable 'Perform OPC before write', disable 'Burnproof' and use a custom layer break position. Put them all back on their default values. The .DVD file supplies the correct layer break position (when set to 'calculate optimal'), you shouldn't be messing with it yourself.

I doubt changing any of those will give you a working disc, so you're going to have to just buy the discs you know you should have bought anyway - Vetbatim 8x (MKM-003-00).
