DigitalFeeder Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 Hello, im just trying to burn an audio CD for playback in my car, i need to test the new system i've installed, so im just gonna cut to the chase... Ive used ImgBurn for a few years now, nothing has ever gone wrong, but now, with this same error happening on two of my computers, im wondering whats up?... I have downloaded mp3 files, converted them to .wav using FL Studio (the way i always do it) and it usually always works... Now all of a sudden im getting these... (you will see 3 screenshots from ImgBurn and 2 screenshots to show you the file i am trying to burn... They are all the same type)
LIGHTNING UK! Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 It looks like you've converted them to some weird wav format. Use something like MediaInfo to show me the details of them please. Why don't you just add the MP3 files? You shouldn't have to convert them anyway.
DigitalFeeder Posted January 22, 2015 Author Posted January 22, 2015 The stereo I have is an older model and doesn't support MP3 files, nor does it have an AUX input (otherwise I'd just plug in my phone), hence why having to convert to wav beforehand, the weird thing is i have always done it like this, and never had a problem... I'll use a different converter tomorrow to see if maybe it's something I've done wrong... I'll show you the details tomorrow as I don't currently have access to my laptop... Also a second question, (and possibly a stupid one) do you know how I can actually get the cd to know the title of the track? So that when I put the cd in the stereo it will say '01 - Been On' or '02 - I Mean It' etc, instead of just 'Track 01' and 'Track 02'?? Thanks!
LIGHTNING UK! Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 ImgBurn performs the conversion from mp3 to CD-DA, it's not a step you need to perform yourself. Just drag + drop your mp3 files in the box instead of the converted wav files. The CD-TEXT options you see in the Create CUE window are where you give the tracks names.
DigitalFeeder Posted January 24, 2015 Author Posted January 24, 2015 Thank you Lightning UK! Just jamming out to some tunes right now! Turns out I had accidentally used a different WAV type to what I normally use, was my fault Thanks for creating such an awesome program and thanks for your help!
