LIGHTNING UK!
Try burning at 4x. If that doesn't work, stop using those discs and buy the recommended Verbatim ones.
perdrix
No dis-respect intended, but how come they work in my HDD/DVD recorder for high speed dubbing just fine? Methinks there's more to this than just the brand of disk. Dave
LIGHTNING UK!
Because that's a totally different drive? Every drive has different abilities. Some can burn certain MID discs better than others. Your Samsung SH-S202J burner doesn't like them very much. Using different (better) discs is the easy option. If you'd prefer to buy another drive and hope it does a better job, feel free to do so. perdrix
It was the darn drive, I swapped in another one DVD burner which burnt the DVD just fine. I hope the new Pioneer BDR-209DBK BD-RE drive behaves OK! Thanks
