jaymzcrk Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 I've been using imgburn for a long time (through DVD flick) to burn movies, and it just hasn't been working at all. I'm getting an error(?) that says "device not ready (Incompatible media installed)". Everything I've found says this is due to not having a DVD writer, just a reader. I know I do have burning capabilities, because I built this pc specifically for burning movies, and I've burned movies with DVD flick and img burn before with it. Can anyone help? Cheers in advance . I 17:42:37 ImgBurn Version 2.4.4.0 started! I 17:42:37 Microsoft Windows ??? Home Edition (6.2, Build 9200) I 17:42:37 Total Physical Memory: 16,649,972 KB - Available: 13,611,016 KB I 17:42:37 Initialising SPTI... I 17:42:37 Searching for SCSI / ATAPI devices... I 17:42:37 Found 1 BD-ROM/HD DVD-ROM and 1 BD-RE!
LIGHTNING UK! Posted February 22, 2015 Posted February 22, 2015 Your log is incomplete.... or perhaps just missing info I'm now too used to seeing - you're using a really old version of the program. You do have a BDRE drive so if it's returning that error, it must not like the media you're trying to use. That's nothing to do with ImgBurn.
