nsp Posted June 26, 2016 Posted June 26, 2016 Hi i have many iso file (ripped SACD on PS3) and for now the only way i found was to use imgburn to burn to a DVD and get block-size converted from 2064 to 2048... I would like to know if it exist a way to convert from/to iso or at least understand how it is done. Could you add the iso output even if iso is input. or create a small command line independent tool to convert blocksize of iso file.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted June 26, 2016 Posted June 26, 2016 Unless I add a generic image conversion feature, I can't see this happening. That in itself is unlikely to happen either as if ImgBurn supports the files, it doesn't need to convert them. As for how it's done... well if it's going from 2064 bytes per sector to 2048 bytes per sector, you're just throwing 16 away somewhere.
nsp Posted June 26, 2016 Author Posted June 26, 2016 I did find that that [--12--][+++2048+++][--4--] is the scheme to keep at leadt with the SACD i tested. Many thanks L-UK
