BlueWRXPride Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 I have a Pioneer BD-RW BDR-206D and am trying to burn a dual layer disc using Optical Quantum BD-R DL 6x media. This is my first try at burning BD DL discs, so I'm hoping there's something simple I missed. I just used all the default options, but it looks like there was an error when the burn went from layer 0 to layer 1. See the log. I'd appreciate any suggestions! LIGHTNING UK! Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 Your drive reported a 'Write Error', so it ran into an issue when trying to burn the media. Perhaps try a different speed next time? There's also a newer firmware available for your drive. http://www.firmwarehq.com/Pioneer/BDR-206D/files.html
BlueWRXPride Posted September 4, 2017 Author Posted September 4, 2017 I updated the firmware and burnt at 4x instead of 6x and it worked. Thanks!
