problem burning from dvd shrink

Tried to burn dvd from dvd shrink and rec'd this message:

Any tips on what I'm doing wrong?

A full log would have been nice, we can't tell much from little snippets like that.

 

Chances are, you're using cheapo discs that your drive doesn't burn to very well - or the dye on the disc was just faulty.

 

Check for a firmware update for your drive and ensure you use decent Verbatim (MCC dye) or Taiyo Yuden discs.

Thanks for the reply. I just bought some new verbatim media, DVD-R, the shiny silver ones. I thought they were all made in Japan, but these were made in Taiwan, so don't know if that's the problem. Also, as far as I know, I have the latest firmware for the drive-just checked perhaps a month ago. Perhaps you can take a look at the log and see if you can spot the problem.

 

I tried it again and the first time I burned, I burned in test mode only and it worked fine. When I burned the second time with the verify box checked, this is what I got, full log:

If that still doesn't work then you'll have to find some different discs. Try the Verbatim DVD+R ones instead of the DVD-R ones. You may as well just get the 8x ones as that's all your drive can handle.
