Gordon George
I am a relative neophyte but I have copied several DVDs successfully using DVD Decryter/Shrink and burning using ImgBurn. However, I am now getting the following message when I try to burn the current project: 1/O error! cornholio7
can you post a log please , that would help us to help you
polopony
if you're attempting to make an Iso of an already existing disc then the read error is exactly that, the drive cant read whats written if its a disc you're attempting to duplicate then look at it carefully for dirt or a scratch ,but all said we really need more info and like Corn said a log is the place to start
Gordon George
Could you please explain or direct me to a link where I can learn how to post the log. Thank you
LIGHTNING UK!
Your drive has burnt the disc ok but it can't read it back (at tested by the 'verify' stage) - hence the 'read error'. This is basically because the drive made a naff burn. Update your drives firmware and use decent media. *Decent* being Verbatim (MCC dye) or Taiyo Yuden.
