Failed to set Write Parameters! (too old of drive?)

I'm getting the "Failed to set Write Parameters!" I'm trying to burn an image of Ubuntu. I've got an Iomega ZipCD1024INT-A it's a "zipCD 650" is my drive just too old? here's a copy of the logfile in diag mode. thanks for taking the time to read my post

Yuk ! I hate those F8 enabled logs - that said I thought amongst all the text in there that you were trying to burn a CD is that right ?

Sorry, your drive isn't supported at this time.

 

I'll try and tweak it so the next version might work ok.
