LumGraphix Posted November 18 Posted November 18 So after some reading with my PSX CD-R burning 'adventure' I've come across information that PSX discs are best burnt at TAO or RAW DAO mode (I've been burning at DAO/SAO). If anyone has experience with this I'd like some advice on if TAO mode with Imgburn is perfectly fine or if I have to find other software just to burn with RAW DAO? Thanks
LIGHTNING UK! Posted November 20 Posted November 20 I’d always use Sao/dao. I do recall a few discs needing raw-dao 96 due to early copy protection efforts, and of course, ImgBurn doesn’t support that.
ssjkakaroto Posted Tuesday at 05:33 PM Posted Tuesday at 05:33 PM @LIGHTNING UK! any chance raw-dao could be implemented in Imgburn? CDRDAO implements it on its generic-mmc-raw driver (https://github.com/cdrdao/cdrdao/blob/c2b0ff2740ecc94e976e67e8d6527cfb7107b21f/dao/GenericMMCraw.cc)
