I just recently noticed that ImgBurn will burn an NRG image when the support is activated under Tools/Settings. After trying this feature out a few times I was very please with this functionality.

Eventually I came across a particular NRG file that ImgBurn complained about, however when I used another burning application I had no problem with it.

It turned out that my "problem" NRG file was an audio CD image. Has ImgBurn acted properly in this case, or have I missed a setting somewhere?

Nope, you're right dontasciime. ImgBurn is for single track / session data images.

The 'nrg' registry shell extension setting has nothing to do with ImgBurn's ability to burn a file.

Those options are just so you can right click a file and the context menu has 'Burn using ImgBurn' available as an option.

You can always browse to the files manually and burn them - even if the registry shell extensions are not enabled.
