kevdriver Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 This usually means theres another program running that has access to that drive as well. Do you have incd or anything else installed? Noticed as well, your Princo discs are pretty crappy. Its best to use Verbatim DVD-R for SL burns.
suaxdauxnanh Posted January 29, 2007 Author Posted January 29, 2007 um..i have no other programs..i have nti but it worked before. do you know how to fix after i finishing burnign i can't play the disc too?
polopony Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 E 16:43:12 Failed to lock volume for exclusive access. E 16:43:12 Reason: Access is denied. is it possible that you do not have administrative rights to this computer and theres more than 1 user for it .Failed to lock volume for exclusive access you should still be able to burn a disc it would just be a warning
LIGHTNING UK! Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 Please just read the FAQ. It tells you how to find out what's causing the exclusive use lock to fail.

polopony Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 16:40:43 Destination Media Type: DVD-R (Disc ID: PRINCO8X02) (Speeds: 4x, 6x, 8x) for starters this media is crap, use Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden discs all others are a waste of time have you been messing with the file system in build mode options make it iso 9660 + UDF go to tools settings defaults ,IB works just fine in default mode
lfcrule1972 Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 I would also let ImgBurn verify the burns you are doing - especially with those discs. That should tell you straight away whether the discs are any good or not. When ImgBurn is burning just tick the Verify box and it will do it's stuff for you. Then you can post the complete log here. I would still bet on the media causing your problems.
