 I tried burning a couple of DVD's last night and got multiple 'read capacity' errors on each of 4 attempts. I cancelled out of them and the burn seems to have completed normally. I haven't seen the titles yet, so I can't be sure. Can someone get back to this post and advise me which setting(s) I'd tweak to correct the situation and avoid getting these error messages? Thanks.

We can tell what is happening otherwise - it could be media, drive or the fairies down the bottom of donta's garden !!

ImgBurn saves the logs so you can retrieve them via the Help menu :)

Hmm I'd think you should only see that error as the program tries to initialise the disc.

You won't see any log entries for it so you'll have to provide us with a screenshot showing exactly what you were doing and what it was doing at the time the error popped up.

I live no where near Clapham Common

I hadn't realised that you had moved to Hampsted Heath already donta..... =))

Ok. First, - Don'tascii - thank's for that really quick reply and suggestion for the log file contents. I'll do that next time, and I'll be ready to record the message. It did occure when the burns were first started and I was using Verbatim Azo discs, because I'm toooooo broke to afford TY's right now. I really wasn't prepared for those error messages since I've been doing this for a couple of years and I think it's the first time it's happened. I'll just have to get back and post again, once I get a couple of titles to burn off. Really appreciate that quick reply time, though.
