IrishLuck
I ripped the DVD using DVD Decryptor. When I push the calculate button and choose a Layer Break, I get the following error: Fix VTS Sectors Failed! Reason: Could Not Find VIDEO_TS.IFO file Do You Want to Continue Anyway? Any suggestions? lfcrule1972
ImgBurn cannot find a VIDEO_TS.IFO file, which means that the files are not correct to build a DVD image. You should look again at the source files are they .iso or .vobs etc ?

IrishLuck
ImgBurn cannot find a VIDEO_TS.IFO file, which means that the files are not correct to build a DVD image. You should look again at the source files are they .iso or .vobs etc ? I ripped a retail DVD. The files are VOBs with a IFO file.
lfcrule1972
Well we can't help you with ripping problems - that was the realm of DVD Decrypter which is no longer supported for legal reasons - sorry. A Google search might lead to something.
IrishLuck
Well we can't help you with ripping problems - that was the realm of DVD Decrypter which is no longer supported for legal reasons - sorry. A Google search might lead to something. This is not a ripping problem. I ripped it fine. The problem is IMGburn. The error says: Fix VTS Sectors Failed! Reason: Could Not Find VIDEO_TS.IFO file In the folder it is looking there is a file called VTS_02_0.IFO
lfcrule1972
As polo posted above we can't help you bypass copyright protection - sorry but this isn't what this forums is about.
IrishLuck
Wait, you're saying this is a copyright protection issue? I own this DVD. Just trying to make a backup. The error I get is with IMGburn, not DVD Decryptor.
cornholio7
the error you are seeing is because there is some form of copyright protection on the disc you are trying to back up. we cant help you with that here. use google, when the disc is ripped correctly , imgburn will be able to burn it
IrishLuck
Thanks. Just needed to isolate the problem. Didn't even think it was Copyright Protection. Well, now that I know, finding a solution should be no problem. Thanks for the quick response guys.

LIGHTNING UK!
In a very generic sense, if you don't have a VIDEO_TS.IFO file in your VIDEO_TS folder, the VIDEO_TS folder doesn't have all the files in it that it should do.
