Logic 7 Posted March 18, 2007 Posted March 18, 2007 (edited) I have used Verbatim DVD-R discs for a while and now when I put one in and try to burn I get medium not found. When I use Taiyo Yuden it recognizes them every time. but I would like to use up the verbatims. Can anyone help? Edited March 18, 2007 by Logic 7
LIGHTNING UK! Posted March 18, 2007 Posted March 18, 2007 Clean the drive? Update the firmware? Are you sure you weren't using +R discs and the drive only supports +R, hence why -R don't work? Try another batch of Verbatims. Failing all that, I guess your drive has just worn out or developed a fault. Replace it.
