I've looked all over these boards for something similar and cannot find a solution.

I'm using vista with a new DVD writer, and -R discs. The player is a region 2 -R player. I have set ImgBurn to region 2.

Did this same media work before with your DVD player? You should try better media, like Verbatim and Taiyo Yuden.

By the way, where did you set ImgBurn to region 2? As far as I know there's no such option, since ImgBurn can't read commercial DVD-Video discs.

All media once written is region free you asked where the option was or rather said there was no such option and indicated as such by saying since it cannot read etc etc

but whatever

dontasciime got what I meant when I mentioned changing the region setting.

It's possible that the discs I have suck, (pick them up from *ahem*...?-Stretcher... today) though when I put it in my pc it has the file on there as an avi file (which was it's original format, before i converted it to an iso with imgburn) and it plays on my pc just fine.

Whether this rings any bells for you guys I don't know...
