John OShaugh
I burned a disk with files I wanted to back up but the DVD does not show them. They are there. Is there any way I can retrieve them? It seems the table of contents got overwritten somehow. can anyone help? John... I'm desperate
LIGHTNING UK!
Does ImgBurn not see anything on the disc? If you put it in when you're in 'Read' mode, is it able to parse the filesystem and show you the volume label etc of the disc? Copy + Paste the info from the window on the right of ImgBurn. robwathen
File System Information:Sectors: 157,535 Size: 322,631,680 bytes Time: 35:02:35 (MM:SS:FF) Ok, well there appear to be a readable filesystem on the disc. Can't explorer read it? I am having the same issue. I know the data is on the DVD I burned because I tested the DVDs on a seperate computer. When trying to be read through Expplorer on a different computer, the directory shows no files (it's blank). In doing some research, I found the following information on microsfots website.... http://support.microsoft.com/kb/899527/en-us It appears as though Explorer has an issue trying to read DVDs that were created using the UDF option, which is the default in IMGBURN. I am testing this theory, but it looks like it could be the culprit. If any of you find out another reason, please email me. Thanks, Rob
LIGHTNING UK!
That hotfix only mentions UDF v2.00. ImgBurn uses v1.02 - as is the standard on DVD Video discs. So I'm guessing it doesn't really apply.
