cbooker7212 Posted December 7, 2005 Posted December 7, 2005 im relatively new to this but when i download dvd's it takes a long time, and my computer isn't that old some one told me i might need to update my firmware, but i don't know how to do that, could someone clue me in on how to adjust my firmware or what else could be the problem with my disc writing speed, sorry if i sound clueless
LIGHTNING UK! Posted December 7, 2005 Posted December 7, 2005 By 'download', I assume you actually mean 'write' or 'burn' ! Load ImgBurn, ensure the correct drive is selected in the list, then click Tools -> Drive -> Check For Firmware Update... You should get a page come up with your drive and all the possible firmware updates. You want the latest one - should have highest revision number / code. If you can provide us with the name of the drive (make / model etc), we could possibly help you a little bit more.
