Elvis Posted May 18, 2007 Share Posted May 18, 2007 (edited) Hello, The Disc errors at halfway when trying to burn the second layer. Using Matrix DVD+R Double Layer 8x Media. Nero Burning rom software is doing the same thing as Imgburn. It use to work then all of a sudden started doing coasters halfway through the burn process. Your drive can't write to the disc, hence the 'Write Error' status code it's returning to the software. You could try slowing the burn down to 2.4x, but really you need to stop using the cheapo DL discs and buy Verbatims. They're the only ones that seem to work reliably.
