Arniceous
After uninstalling ImgBurn when recieving information regarding dual layer only and not singe layer think that a new version will never come about with this feature I decided to do back to DVD Decrypter 3.5.4.0 and now it only ready two olayers as well even after i cleaned out the registrty of both decryper and ImgBurn. Are there any work-arounds as of yet? Is there going to be a better version of Imgburn that will off sigle layer option such as the original DVDDecrypter? Arniceous
neither program can/could ever make a dual layer fit on single layer Why do people I am in contact with that havnt migrated to ImgBurn still have their DVD Decrypter reading one layer instead of both layers on all the DVD's they insert in the ROM as I used to. Please reference my attachements. (1) is of a new movie (2) is of one i did in the past and then sent it to shrink and copied with Nero. Did 100's just like that always read 1 layer 4.7 GB not Dual Layer at 8 GB Edited June 15, 2007 by Arniceous
mmalves
DVD Decrypter doesn't do what you think it does: as you've said yourself, it was DVD Shrink that converted dual-layer to single-layer disc. Sorry, but we can't help with neither of them.
Arniceous
my dvd decrypter has always read in single layer and shrink just puts it on the disk for me by the way. Don't tell me dvd decrypter always read in dual layer only that is not so. Edited June 15, 2007 by Arniceous
cornholio7
LOL please note that dvd decrypter is not supported by this forum , but by your examples above , disc 2 is clearly a copy and of course can fit onto a dvd-r. imgburn still cant help you with what you want to do
Arniceous
LOL please note that dvd decrypter is not supported by this forum , but by your examples above , disc 2 is clearly a copy and of course can fit onto a dvd-r. imgburn still cant help you with what you want to do I'm not going to give up with this my friend. Ofcours its a copy! The original as I stated was read by DVD Decrypter at 4.5~ gigs and the iso was perfect for my shrink with 4.7 media. I know you no longer support DVD Decrpter nor Shrink however the question is: What must I do to have DVD Decrypter once again read single layer on the Disks I insert for after uninstalling ImgBrun WHICH ONLY READS DUAL LAYER seems to have corrupted my system settings that share settings with firmware/dvd decrypter etc.... I cleaned the registry of ImgBurn that didn't help and reinstalled decrypter. Do you guys have a work around on this as of yet, or am I the first person to experience this? Running XP media Center by the way Edited June 15, 2007 by Arniceous

LIGHTNING UK!
lol you're a funny guy. DVD Dec never did what you're saying it did. Same way as ImgBurn doesn't, and won't ever do it. If you ever did burn anything to a SL disc, it probably wasn't the entire thing or the source just happened to be SL too. That is the ONLY way it would have worked.
