Problem writing to DVD's, I/O Error!

Hi there. I am new to writing to DVD, so please be gentle with me!

Right basically I have a few movies on my PC that I would like to write to dvd. These movies were in an avi format, so I used avi2dvd to convert them. I now have a folder with an ISO image in it, and then another folder labled dvd with the Audio_TS and Video_TS in.

From what I can grasp I should just open ImgBurn and just write the ISO image?

When I do this I get the following message:

I/O Error!

Device [1:0:0] Plextor DVDR PX-716A (D:) (ATA)

ScsiStatus: 0x02

Interpretation: Check Condition

CDB: 53 00 00 00 00 00 21 E8 90 00

Interpretation: Reserve Track- Sectors: 2,222,224

Sense Area: 70 00 05 00 00 00 00 0A 00 00 00 00 2C 00 00 00 00 00

Interpretation: Command Sequence Error.

I have also checked, and downloaded the latest firmware for the DVD drive. And I read the guide for building a single layer ISO on your hard drive, and then tried to burn that image to dvd, but got the same results.

I am sorry if I am completely messing this up, but am totally confused as to what I am doing wrong.

Thanks for any help, Dave.

Something is misbehaving and it's impossible to know what from the info you've provided.

I'd need a complete log with I/O debug mode enabled before you click the 'Write' button. (press F8 to enable it).

Enable it, start the burn, disable it. SAVE the log to a file and upload the file.
