jaques
Trying to use an old burner for DVDs for the first time. Works fine with CDs. But I cannot get it to recognise an empty DVD. It always comes up with the message 'Disk Not Empty'. Any ideas. Thanks. LIGHTNING UK!
It doesn't appear to be reporting the disc info properly. Notice it says 'Status: Complete' rather than 'Status: Empty'. Try looking for a firmware update for the drive.

Try looking for a firmware update for the drive. Yes, I checked that earlier - it is the latest. It does report a blank CD correctly, for what it's worth. I'll try a different DVD medium tomorrow.
