jthomas5150 Posted July 15, 2007 Posted July 15, 2007 I have a DVD player that can read DivX files. What is the best way to use ImgBurn to build? The reason I ask is because when I use Nero (which I don't like) I get the full title of the avi's on my TV's menu screen. When I build with ImgBurn, they only show up in 8.3 format (or something like that). Thanks.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted July 15, 2007 Posted July 15, 2007 Change the filesystem selection to include 'Joliet'.
jthomas5150 Posted July 15, 2007 Author Posted July 15, 2007 So use "ISO 9660 + Joliet + UDF" from the drop down menu?
jthomas5150 Posted July 15, 2007 Author Posted July 15, 2007 (edited) I tried with just UDF, and the DVD player would not read. But when I tried ISO9660 + Joliet + UDF, it played fine with the long file names. Why? Edited July 15, 2007 by jthomas5150
mmalves Posted July 15, 2007 Posted July 15, 2007 But when I tried ISO9660 + Joliet + UDF, it played fine with the long file names. Why? Your player reads the names from the Joliet filesystem, and ignores the UDF filesystem entirely. If you're interested, please read the following articles: ISO9660 Joliet UDF (ImgBurn generates UDF 1.02 compliant discs/images)
jthomas5150 Posted July 15, 2007 Author Posted July 15, 2007 (edited) As always, thanks! Edited July 15, 2007 by jthomas5150
