blutach Posted July 30, 2007 Posted July 30, 2007 It can of unencrypted DVDs. Just use read mode followed by write mode (note if the source of DVD-9 size, you'll need a DL disk to write to). Regards
LIGHTNING UK! Posted July 30, 2007 Posted July 30, 2007 For DVDs, yes. For CDs that would required 'RAW' mode, no. When burning CD's the program uses SAO and works with the user data areas, not the subchannel / leadin / leadout ones. So it all depends on what you're really asking about! For normal data discs, yeah it's pretty much 1:1. If you've got anything with protection on it, no it's not 1:1.
jbumgar Posted July 30, 2007 Author Posted July 30, 2007 Well I was wondering about DVDs so I guess I'm ok. The disk I'm wanting to backup is protected by a serial number so I should be ok?
blutach Posted July 30, 2007 Posted July 30, 2007 It depends if it is an encrpyted movie. ImgBurn will not decrypt movie DVDs. Regards
