narl Posted August 12, 2007 Posted August 12, 2007 Hi there Was looking a little bit of help, today I downloaded and instaled the newest version of Image burn, I burnt a few dvdr's off on it and I reaslised that both Image burn and DVD Decrypter are stopping at 50% for about 20 seconds, I have no idea why this is though. It does however complete sucessfully but when you watch the DVD back on a tv the audio will drop for a few seconds in different parts of the movies, also the Buffer goes up to 100% then drops to about 90% goes in between the two alot, not to sure what is causing this. Would anyone have any ideas what could be causing this?

blutach Posted August 12, 2007 Posted August 12, 2007 Welcome to ImgBurn Forum. Change your media to Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden. CMC is just junk - a search would have revealed this. Regards
narl Posted August 12, 2007 Author Posted August 12, 2007 Welcome to ImgBurn Forum. Change your media to Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden. CMC is just junk - a search would have revealed this. Regards Well, I have also used TDK discs and it is the same problem.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted August 12, 2007 Posted August 12, 2007 TDK are probably CMC discs too. The brand name doesn't mean anything, it's the dye that's important. You could also try burning at 8x rather than MAX. The pause might just be coming from where it changes speed or performs some WOPC type function. Seeing as it's low quality media, it might be taking a while as the retries are exhausted.
