andre Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 I would like to burn a backup of some software onto a 2gb SD memory card. Can that be done? Can it be done with ImgBurn? If so, how? Thanks. Andre
blutach Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 Welcome to ImgBurn Forum. Why not just plug in your card reader (if your PC doesn't have one) and use Windows Explorer? Regards
andre Posted August 15, 2007 Author Posted August 15, 2007 Welcome to ImgBurn Forum. Why not just plug in your card reader (if your PC doesn't have one) and use Windows Explorer? Regards The software requires that it be imaged to be moved. A regular copy command misses some element that is necessary for it to run. I had all of the file extensions visible amd it won't run, if just copied. The original is a program that shipped on a memory card. Thanks
LIGHTNING UK! Posted August 15, 2007 Posted August 15, 2007 ImgBurn will only read from an optical drive. If you want to take a copy of something like a memory card or hdd, you need software appropriate for that purpose. Most hdd / partition cloning tools should be able to do it.
andre Posted August 15, 2007 Author Posted August 15, 2007 Thanks. That answers my question. ImgBurn is wonderful tool in all other respects.
