I just DL'ed imgburn and i thought this thing would be bullet proof, but to my shigrin, nope.The reason i say that is i am really new to burning dvds and am pretty much lost here.

I am presently backing up my new collection of TV shows and the first disc wrote and burnt with no problems. However the next one is non stop problems!! Hence the Plea for help.

"I/O Error!

That was the error message. The log sheet had the following...

W 01:54:26 Failed to Read Sector 227120 - ID CRC or ECC Error

W 08:11:17 Failed to Read Sector 227121 - ID CRC or ECC Error

W 08:39:15 Failed to Read Sector 227122 - ID CRC or ECC Error

ImgBurn does not backup commercial dvd's.

 

If your simply using ImgBurn to write them out you will need to post the full log file as this will include the type of media you are using.

 

There may be a firmware update to your drive as well

Yeah i meant that i was burning the content from the orginal discs to new ones for everyday use.The log is as follows...

LMAO are you kidding me..what was it created for again exactly?? Remember the first disc was no problem but the second was????

What was 'ImgBurn' created for?!

 

Burning Images (disc images, ISO files etc) mainly, hence the name.

 

DVD Video discs are protected against copying, that's why ImgBurn won't read them. Any other 'normal' disc and you'd be fine.
