Media Center

I have recorded movies, etc. with XP Media Center. I would like to burn these recordings to DVD's so that I can play them on my DVD Player. I have tried Media Center, Nero, and dCUT and have not been able to get a usable DVD. ImgBurn does not recognize my recorded files but I can drag and drop them into ImgBurn. It burned a DVD but it does not play in my DVD Player or on my computer. If ImgBurn can take the recordings from Media Center and burn them to a DVD that my DVD player will recognize, I would appreciate step by step instructions on how to accomplish this.

Thank you,

Dave

you probably need to convert those media files into something that imgburn can use to make a dvd compliant disk

dvd flick is a good program, I convert files like avi's into a burnable folder on my hard drive, then after checking the files I burn with Imgburn

Media Center generates dvr-ms files. What would they need to be converted to that imgburn can use to make a dvd compliant disc?

Thanks for your help.
