LIGHTNING UK! Posted September 4, 2007 Posted September 4, 2007 1. Update your drive's firmware. http://support.us.dell.com/support/downloa...p;fileid=127491 2. Get some different discs, the drive doesn't like those CMC MAG. AM3 ones. Get some Verbatim / Taiyo Yuden discs instead.

Im at work now but Im gonna try to go to best buy to get some new media. Which would you totally recommend (dvd-r, dvd+r, dvd +rw, etc.)??? Above is the log file and these are the types of files that I'm going to be burning 99% of the time. Forgive me for my ignorance! New at the dvd burning hobby..... Thanks again Im going to try to update the firmware, with the link you sent, tonight and burn with the new media. Hopefully everything works okay!!
