Defenestration Posted September 8, 2007 Posted September 8, 2007 After re-installing Windows, I used my previous ImgBurn settings which I had backed up. The original Graph Data folder no longer existed and when I burned an image, the graph data file was placed in the root folder, instead of the folder being automatically created. To reproduce, 1) Create a folder (eg. D:\ImgBurn_Graph_Data) 2) Go into ImgBurn and set this location as the graph data folder 3) Delete the folder created in (1) 4) Burn an image The graph data will be placed in D:\, and not D:\ImgBurn_Graph_Data\
dontasciime Posted September 8, 2007 Posted September 8, 2007 Don't delete the folder created in (1) then Which settings did you back up for it not to remember , you choose custom for graph data why would IB know that
Defenestration Posted September 8, 2007 Author Posted September 8, 2007 I just backed up the ImgBurn.ini file, and after re-installing ImgBurn I just copy the .ini file to the IB program folder before starting IB. The setting is remembered by IB (ie. Settings->Graph Data->Default Folder is set to custom with the path as "D:\ImgBurn_Graph_Data\").
dontasciime Posted September 9, 2007 Posted September 9, 2007 Never use the Cli mode so maybe someone else that uses it can comment
Defenestration Posted September 9, 2007 Author Posted September 9, 2007 Thanks LUK! BTW, I wasn't using the CLI mode.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted September 10, 2007 Posted September 10, 2007 You just make a file called ImgBurn.ini in the app directory donta. ImgBurn will then load/save to that instead.
dontasciime Posted September 10, 2007 Posted September 10, 2007 I thought ini was only for command line and for it not to touch registry. oh well lal [edit 15.47] I'm sure I should have known that as there have been a couple of posts about it.
blutach Posted September 11, 2007 Posted September 11, 2007 [edit 15.47] Is that like [Revelations 32.23]? Regards
