volvofl10 Posted October 2, 2007 Share Posted October 2, 2007 i would suggest you look for a firmware update . firstly, is it a Dell machine ?? if so , search there site for updates for that drive first Its possible that your drive is actually a Benq 1650 with a phillips badge on it.If this si the case, you could try flashing it with the Benq firmware., check for verification about this before you try it though If you search the net , you will find a few instances of people using the Benq firmware . Posted October 2, 2007 Share Posted October 2, 2007 The 2.4x discs seem to work better than the 8x ones. 8x ones fail in far more drives (probably because they're newer!). btw, your image isn't right and may not work anyway. Cuz I got it to burn but when I put it in xbox it just gives a screen that says this disc must be used in an xbox...like I don't know that already. I feel like a dumb ass with this. Your current one appears to be missing certain data that'll stop it playing if you're using a more recent modification.
