This is a query rather than a problem.

Completed burns (AVI's mainly) consistently have lower volume levels than the normal listening level on my TV.

When someone changes over from playback to TV they get lifted out of the room by the volume level.

I let ImgBurn set the volume level but I'd like to adjust it up a bit .

Whats the procedure for this?

Hmmm, OK thanks for that info. I don't have the problem with ConvertXtoDVD burns, but I only use that if I have to re- encode an avi for playing on a normal stand alone, the rest of my burns are handled as I said by ImgBurn.

Righto, I'll try an avi burn on ConvertX and see if the volume is as low as my normal burns.

Ta again.

Yes I think there is, but I think the defaults probably OK as I haven't had an issue with the playback volume with it.

In ImgBurn you get that popup which says: "I notice you haven't set a volume level. Being the nice programme that I am would you like Imgburn to set it for you?" Or words to that effect.

That is why I wondered if there was a way to manually set the volume level of the burn.

semantics, volume in this case means like a book and where does it says adjust, all it's trying to do is name the "volume"

what's that old saying? "seperated by a common language"

lol it says VOLUME LABEL, not VOLUME LEVEL. The two are very different things.

ImgBurn has *nothing* at all to do with volume levels - it doesn't even really care about the content of the files you're burning - everything is burnt as-is.
