l8nights Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 I know it's probably simpler than I'm making it out to be but I can't seem to make iso's etc show the imgburn icon Is there a simple way to make this happen
LIGHTNING UK! Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 You can probably do it via explorer. Tools -> Folder Options -> File Types. Otherwise, you have to look at HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT in regedit, then browse to '.iso' and see what the default value is under there. My guess is something else is already the main app for such files and it's using that programs icon instead.
l8nights Posted January 6, 2006 Author Posted January 6, 2006 did and done, once again worked like a charm! is it true there is a 1.2.1 hosted on filepedia!
LIGHTNING UK! Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 Stupid beggers have added ImgTool Burn under ImgBurns listing!
blutach Posted May 10, 2006 Posted May 10, 2006 (edited) Sorry to revive an old thread, but I'm having trouble on this all of a sudden, too. My registry for .ISO Default - REG_SZ - ImgBurn.Write.1 Now, in folder options, I try to change the icon and browse to ImgBurn.exe and it tells me the file has no icons! Stumped here. EDIT: Forget about it - somehow it found the icon and all is OK. Weird. Regards Edited May 10, 2006 by blutach
LIGHTNING UK! Posted May 10, 2006 Posted May 10, 2006 That's actually my fault blu. The exe compression program has killed the one I made especially for file associations. This is fixed in the next release.
